CELA is the unified voice for Indiana’s creative industries — film, music, design, media, fashion, architecture, digital content, and more — working to define and measure the creative economy, advocate for smart policy and investment, and give creative industries the same footing as Indiana’s other priority sectors.

WHAT IS CELA?

A trade association — not a regranting agency.

CELA is Indiana’s trade association for private-sector creative industries. We advocate for policies, investment, and infrastructure that help creative businesses grow, create jobs, retain talent, and compete with other states.

Our focus is economic development for creative industries: companies, jobs, talent, and infrastructure — treated as serious economic strategy, not cultural advocacy.
